Women Only Fitness, Tukwila Community Center
A fitness room with reserved times for women only at the Tukwila Community Center (greater Seattle WA area). Saturdays 2pm - 5pm; Sundays 1pm - 3pm. $3.00- $5.00 Fee. See flyer for details.
Evidence-Based Public Health Training Series
A free on-line course covering the skills needed to incorporate more evidence into public health practice. The course is structured into 9 sessions and take 10 hours to complete. Provided by Northwest Center for Public Health Practice at the Univ of Washington, the Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center, and the Prevention and Research Center in St. Louis, MO
Asylum Program Orientation
Mondays 1:00 PM -3:00 PM Orientation for Refugees Northwest's Asylum Assistance Program that helps connect asylum seekers to medical care and immigration assistance.
East African Elders Program
Tuesdays starting Aug 28, 2018 there will be a chance for East African Elders to gather at Northgate Community Center (Seattle) from 11am - 2pm for activities, socialization and a meal. Co-sponsored by Hunger Intervention Program, Sound Generations, Horn of Africa Services and Seattle Parks and Recreation.
Great Lakes Conference on Refugee Resilience and Integration: Promising Practices, Emerging Trends
Thurs Nov 14 – Fri Nov 15; The Refugee Services Collaborative of Greater Cleveland presents this conference that will highlight critical issues for the United States refugee population, including challenges to addressing behavioral health needs and overall integration due to culture and experiences of trauma, torture and loss as well as the challenges facing the integration of vulnerable refugee communities and emerging solutions underway across the nation.
