Presenters will discuss the current key issues for African immigrants in the United States; current HIV and HBV epidemiological data; and activities and resources available for NAIRHHA Day. 

The webinar will: 

  • Provide a brief overview of the National African Immigrant and Refugee HIV and Hepatitis Awareness (NAIRHHA) Day
  • Describe the current HIV and hepatitis B epidemiological and behavioral risk trends for African immigrants
  • Present findings from two projects on barriers and strategies to addressing HIV and Hepatitis B among African immigrants
