Photo 15: Tinea Corporis - Classic Presentation
Tinea corporis is extremely common in children of all ethnic backgrounds, but
sometimes may have a different appearance in children with dark skin. This is a typical
lesion of tinea corporis: an annular shaped lesion with raised margins, clearing in the
center and some erythema.
