This poster project was created by nursing students Mina So, RN, BSN and Stephanie Bauer RN, BSN to convey a universally understood message of the harm and danger that could result from the improper storage and/or accidental ingestion of household cleaning products. The target audience is any population who is unable to read English well and is unfamiliar with common household chemicals found in the United States.

Infant-Toddler Language and Early Literacy Activities

The "On the Go" materials produced by Washington Learning Systems include 14 activities designed to be used outside the home: in the car, while walking, during bus rides, etc. The activities encourage early language and literacy development from birth through preschool. Materials are available for free download (must first create a login using email address and a password) in these languages: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog/Philipino, Somali, Russian and Burmese.
