This poster project was created by nursing students Mina So, RN, BSN and Stephanie Bauer RN, BSN to convey a universally understood message of the harm and danger that could result from the improper storage and/or accidental ingestion of household cleaning products. The target audience is any population who is unable to read English well and is unfamiliar with common household chemicals found in the United States.

Raising Children in a New Country: An Illustrated Handbook
This booklet was created for agencies serving refugees and immigrants in order to support their efforts to ensure that newcomer parents have the basic information they need about U.S. laws and parenting practices. Although newcomers may find the booklet useful by itself, it is primarily intended for case managers and other service providers to use together with their refugee and immigrant clients. The booklet is targeted to newcomer parents with low levels of English proficiency and/or low literacy levels.

Raising Children in a New Country: Supporting Early Learning and Healthy Development
BRYCS and the Office of Head Start's National Center on Cultural and Linguistic Responsiveness (NCCLR) partnered to create "Raising Children in a New Country: Supporting Early Learning and Healthy Development," an illustrated handbook for newcomer families parenting young children. The handbook addresses the following themes: Family Well-Being, Safety and Protection, Guidance and Discipline, Healthy Brain Development, Early Learning and School Readiness, and Connecting to Early Care and Education.
