Somali Audio Teaching Tool about Tuberculosis and TB Treatment
This audio-based education tool can be used to introduce the topic of TB, prior to even beginning to discuss the need for PPD skin testing or at any step in the TB evaluation process (it can be used after a PPD is determined to be positive, after the x-ray has been performed, before INH has been recommended, or during INH TLTBI to reinforce the rationale for taking treatment for LTBI).

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) worked in partnership with the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health to assess the cardiovascular health status of AAPIs. The Cambodian community is the third of four AAPI populations studied. Others are Filipinos, Vietnamese, and Native Hawaiians. This PDF is a collaborative report from the NHLBI, the AAPIA Health Forum, and Lowell Community Health Center.
