TB Cultural Profile Project Overview
The Tuberculosis, TB Cultural Profile series on EthnoMed is a resource intended for medical providers who test, treat, or counsel patients about TB. These profiles aim to cover some of the main immigrant populations in the greater King County area in Washington state. However, they should be generally applicable to providers working in other areas of the United States.

Somali Audio Teaching Tool about Tuberculosis and TB Treatment
This audio-based education tool can be used to introduce the topic of TB, prior to even beginning to discuss the need for PPD skin testing or at any step in the TB evaluation process (it can be used after a PPD is determined to be positive, after the x-ray has been performed, before INH has been recommended, or during INH TLTBI to reinforce the rationale for taking treatment for LTBI).
