- Asian Counseling and Referral Service
A multi-service organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest. A community resource for culturally appropriate mental health care, services for the elderly, hot meal programs for seniors, community referrals, assistance with obtaining aid, job services, translation, help with medical and legal matters, and many other services.
- Asian Smokers’ Quitline
The Asian Pacific Islander Coalition Against Tobacco (APICAT) is partnering with the California Smokers' Helpline to offer Asian-language Quitline services to Washington State. Telephone counseling services available in Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin), Korean, and Vietnamese languages.
- Health Translations
Health information, available in several different languages, from the Department of Human Services, Australia.
- Immigrant and Refugee Health Resources - CDC
CDC provides Covid-19, seasonal flu and hepatitis B information in languages common among the refugee communities in the US.
- Kin On Nursing Home
Provide support for the elderly and adults in the greater Seattle Asian community by offering a comprehensive range of health, social and educational services sensitive to their cultural, linguistic and dietary needs. Initially began with nursing home services, but have expanded to include many services benefiting elderly.
- Vaccine Information Statements
The Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) works to increase immunization rates and prevent disease by creating and distributing educational materials for health professionals and the public that enhance the delivery of safe and effective immunization services. They have Vaccine Information Statements in 40 languages.
