North American Refugee Health Conference

Registration is open for the North American Refugee Health Conference taking place August 5-7 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Join 700+ attendees at the annual 3-day conference for healthcare and resettlement professionals working in refugee and immigrant health. The NARHC brings emerging and established leaders in refugee and immigrant health together for education and networking.

This years keynote speaker is Kao Kalia Yang,  a Hmong American teacher, speaker, and writer. Her work crosses audiences and genres. She is the award-winning author of the memoirs, The Latehomecomer, The Song Poet, Somewhere in the Unknown World, and Where Rivers Part. Yang co-edited the groundbreaking book, What God is Honored Here?: Writings on Miscarriage and Infant Loss By and For Native Women and Women of Color.

Additionally, enrollment for the two FREE pre-courses on August 4th is starting to fill up. There are limited spaces and the pre-courses will likely be filled in the next couple months. If interested, early registration is suggested.

Introduction to Refugee Health
A perfect primer for those new to the profession and/or those who want a quick overview before heading into the full conference.

Afghan Women’s Health
