North American Refugee Health Conference 2020 (Virtual)
Registration for the 2020 Virtual North American Refugee Health Conference begins June 15th!
We are a dedicated group of medical providers, nurses, social workers, researchers, coordinators and many other professionals that spend much of our workday caring for newly-arriving refugees. Our mission is to educate, coordinate, and provide a forum for communication by which members can become more informed about best practices in refugee healthcare. The Society is open to anyone interested in issues related to refugee healthcare. We encourage you to join us and become a part of the growing movement to provide high quality equitable healthcare in resettlement cities in North America as well as around the world.
Covid-19 and the Conference
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and travel/crowd size restrictions, we will be conducting the 2020 NARHC virtually this year. The entire conference will be conducted over a three day period with all the same content as if it were in-person. We will be utilizing an agency that specializes in virtual conferences as well as a virtual platform that will allow us to bring to you all the educational content as if you were sitting in a convention center. Networking, questions and answers, and social events will be included over the three day period.
Those that register will have access to recorded presentations after the conference through our website.
We are very excited to bring this educational experience to you virtually and look forward to seeing you in September.
Have questions about the change to a virtual conference? See our FAQs about the virtual NARHC.
