
Vision Screening for Newcomer Children & Adults
Sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Health this webinar is hosted by the Director of the National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health. Several vision and eye specialists will be presenting.
The learning objectives are to:
- Understand the importance of healthy sight to support life in the U.S.
- Describe the evidence-based vision screening methods and tools adapted for newcomer populations.
- Identify at least two approaches used to effectively refer children and adults for follow-up vision care.
- Identify two to three vision screening resources.
Continuing Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Minnesota Medical Association and Minnesota Department of Health.
