Afghan Nutrition Guide

The Afghan Nutrition Guide is a collaborative effort of UW nutritionists, graduate students, and Afghan community members in the Seattle area. The aim of the nutrition guide is to help health providers understand the dietary practices of their Afghan patients. The guide also provides culturally relevant information to inform patients about healthy and nutritional choices using traditional Afghan foods. This guide is the result of interviews and research to learn about Afghan recipes and ingredients.

This magazine quality guide is a way for health practitioners to convey messaging about healthy eating choices with relevant and relatable imagery and information about traditional Afghan meals.
